Concerns and Complaints

Westborough High School welcomes the opportunity to discuss with parents any matter which may cause concern.  In the event that a situation should prove impossible to resolve any matter of dispute, details of the Complaints Procedure set out in Section 23 of the Education Reform Act are available at the school or may be obtained from the Local Education Authority.

Access to Information

Parents have the right of access to a variety of documents which are held at the school and are available on request for inspection.  These include:

• the LEA’s statement of Curriculum Policy
• copies of the DfES Orders and Circulars relating to the curriculum
• any HMI reports which refer expressly to the school
• subject syllabuses and schemes of work
• the LEA’s agreed syllabus for Religious Education
• the school prospectus
• the Annual Report of the Governors
