Due to the re organisation of schools in Kirklees, Birkdale High School was sadly closed on 31st August 2011. The existing school site, the students and many of the staff officially joined Westborough on the 1st September and Westborough officially became a split campus school. The staff of Westborough school are delighted to welcome our new members. Over the next few months the Stockhill Street Campus will be developed to allow for increased numbers and the Halifax Road Campus (former Birkdale Site) will eventually close. In the meantime this section of the website will share information that relate specifically to the Halifax Road Campus.
