Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education
HEALTH EDUCATION
Health education is taught at both key stages and covers issues concerning
healthy lifestyles, lived with respect for self and others.
Occasionally, topics of a personal nature are taught in single gender groups.
Parents are advised about this part of the programme at the appropriate time.
The programme was put together by a working group of teachers and governors.
It is available for parents to look at and discuss with staff.
Parents do have the right to withdraw students from parts of the health education
programme. We ask that they look at the programme and discuss their concerns
before doing so.
