Extra-curricular Opportunities

Activities outside the classroom enrich the learning experience. During the lunch-time, after school and at weekends we offer a variety of clubs and encourage all our students to participate in them.

A typical list of activities include:
•  Musical activities - choir, keyboard group…
•  Numerous sports - netball, basketball, soccer, hockey…
•  Drama - performance and visits to local theatres.
•  Science club.
•  Chess club.
•  French.

•  Geography weekends in  Yorkshire Dales.
•  Open access to Multimedia ICT and the Learning Resource Centres.
•  Camping week to Criccieth,  North Wales for years 7 and 8.
•  Duke of Edinburgh groups - Road Safety, aerobics, girls’ rugby, Dental Health promotion.
